ParcelForce: the worst courier company I've ever used! (Parcelforce)

Advantages: Absolutely none whatsoever!

Disadvantages: Unreliable, unfriendly, unhelpful, unethical and worse.

ParcelForce is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Having read similar scenarios to mine on here, I get the feeling there is more going on than meets the eye.

I was sent a parcel from abroad and on their website it showed as delivered. However there is no one by that name where I live, or in fact in the entire building as I was able to later verify.

Every time I called ParcelForce, they kept promising that someone would call me back. On a couple of occasions, once I'd given them the tracking number they lowered the volume of their voice, which really made me very suspicious. I have wanted to take this further but if they have shady characters working for them, I don't want them turning up at my door.

If you need to send a parcel, you are much better off paying more for a more reputable company. If you are receiving one, tell the person sending it NOT TO USE PARCELFORCE!! If you would like to receive your parcel that is.

The level of disregard and lack of care over the phone is astounding! Every time I spoke with someone, they gave me their name and promised to call back the same day and never did. I would then call back the next day, ask for that person and get told that they were busy, and start the whole process all over again.

I am looking into their complaints procedure but wonder if it is just a waste of time. Involving the police has occurred to me, however, as mentioned above, if they have the shady characters working for them that I am convinced they do, I could find someone at my door one of these days. It's sad to look at things like that, but this is the London we live in now.
