Parcelforce - do not use them - I was a contract customer for 4 years - they failed twice to pick up a parcel yesterday - waiting in from 9.00 until 5.30 2 days running - their customer service line 2 hours to speak to anybody and then not successful in resolving problem. One call centre operative gave the MD's number 01908 687000 as he was "not going to be an apologetist any long" - they over charge contract customers - they add surcharges on without telling you - their service is terrible - avoid avoid avoid - this company have lost the plot of customer service - as you can tell I am cross very cross -

I seem to have been caught by Parcelforce for the fake delivery, that is the online tracker states the driver calle but no-one was in, I stayed in (wasted) all Saturday waiting for the delivery. Also no card was left. The lies and the poor service is staggering! Have asked Parcelforce to just stop feeding me lies and to return to sender and we will use TNT or anyone don't really care, the key point is DO NOT EVER USE PARCELFORCE!!!!!
Please listen to all this reviews which are only the tip of the iceberg.

Lloyds TSB have a Royal Mail post code in all their cheque books, stationery etc. Once in hands of Parcel Force they said this post code did not exist. I went back on forth by E mail giving contact numbers etc. Finally Parcel Force ... Read the complete review

I had a parcel sent off from Hong kong since mid-feb, and still havent recieved it till now, which is near to the mid of May already. At first, I thought the parcel was lost, since it didnt arrive for nearly 2 months, and I contacted Parcel-force via email, to which they replied that I have to provide details of the parcel. As a company posting frequently overseas I've to date had no major problems with Parcelforce.. However I would assume that posting economy would suggest that is what you are getting ECONOMY Meaning being shipped in a container ship via heaven knows where. It is possible to have a 48 hour service to the U.S.A But that is not Ecomomy guess when you join the real world you'll find you get what you pay for.. I use Parcelforce not because they're the best. But because I'vr tried all of the others and they're an awfull lot worse.

When I first used Parcelforce I thought that the service was good (this was 2 years ago). I mostly get stuff shipped to me by EMS and I've always recieved it with no problems. EMS usually takes 3-5 days and I receive my parcels within that time. I even ordered a custom made coat from Canada, I was charged with customs for it. I had a ... Read the complete review

Parcelforce carded my next door nighbour for my parcel by mistake - I saw the van driving off. I contacted my local depot asking for them to re-deliver - they contacted the driver who replied that he tried to deliver it to our house number - rubbish! As i'm not in tomorrow i've now got a 40 mile 1-hour+ round trip to collect from the depot.

A parcel that made it from Shanghai to the depot in 3 days is still in the hands of Parcelforce after 4 days.
I requested that it be held for me to collect from the depot, and after a 3 mile trudge in the rain was told it was "in a van somewhere".
Pathetic.

parcelforce a force for absolutely no good
Like everyone other businessperson on this site we are running companies which rely on deliveries from reliable companies I am sick and tired of parcelforce which is NOT a reliable company! Having ordered spare parts from a company in the Midlands, the parcel was despatched within 24 hours, but it was more than two weeks before parcelforce could bring themselves to delivery it. Excuses like no-one at premises, unable to find address, no further instructions available were put onto their website when I had been trying for hours to get someone to answer the phone, something parcelforce NEVER EVER do! I agree with every said by the other businesspeople on here. As a small company we cannot afford to wait for spare parts which loses us business!

A supplier posted two parcels to me on the 48hr guaranteed service on 18th December. One was delivered on the 20th and the other has been stuck in the National Hub since. No number of phone calls seem to be able to get this moving.
It annoys me intensely that they take what is a large fee for delivery then don't bother to deliver at all. I suppose my daughter will have no present this Christmas.
What a disgrace.

Parcelforce are pathetic! I Ordered an MP3 player from Amazon who despatched it the same day, (Wanted as a Christmas present) their good efforts were wasted however by their poor choice of carrier!
