Advantages: Quick, reliable service with a smile.

Disadvantages: Can take a while to arrive if they're busy.

I have had to call the RAC out twice in the last week. Both times, the level of service and information has been exceptional, particularly the most recent call out. Both call's were to do with a battery on the way out, and on the 2nd call out it was decided that the battery needed replacing. The RAC man phoned the local battery outlets to find one who had the correct battery in stock, and to find one for a reasonable price. He saved me 20 pounds on the cost of the battery, just from making a few calls. But the place who had the correct battery did not fit them and I wasn't sure where they were located. So the RAC man offered to lead me there and fir the battery once I had purchased it. I could not believe my luck to have such great service to the point where he could not have improved my experience at all. Both call out were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Summary: Definitely money well spent.
