The only thing I've ever failed in life was my first driving test. My sister, who never did as well as me at anything else, passed first time. My step-father still likes to rub my nose in it. At any possible opportunity he will throw comments like "your sister is SUCH a good driver" into the conversation. It's hard and it's become a bone of contention in the family. After all, I wasn't the one who rolled my mum's Fiesta when I was 19. I wasn't the one who wrote off an elderly Vauxhall Victor when I was a student and until 2005, I'd never hit anything that was moving. Driving is a family sore-point for me.
