Advantages: Their signed for services are very reilable, the redirection service is very good indeed.

Disadvantages: Long Queues at Post Office

I have read a few reviews and spoken to people who have a very poor opinion of Royal Mail, however for me their service has always been very good. I have used many of their services, a few to mention are special delivery and the redirection service that they offer. Their Special Delivery is very good, I always send items using this when I want a guaranteed delivery time and proof of delivery, you can also track the item online which is very handy, Apart from their normal services, when I moved house recently I had to use their redirection service, although it was maybe a bit expensive it gave me peace of mind that my letters would get forwarded on, setting this up was very straight forward, they also send you a letter a few weeks before it is due to end asking if you want to extend the service. The only minor complaint I have is that their post offices are always so busy, even when I try to avoid lunchtimes the queues are sometimes out of the door. Apart from this I would say on the whole Royal Mail do an extremely good job.

Summary: Overall Royal Mail in my view offer a great service!

hmmmm, having had a recorded delivery item I sent go astray, and being insulted with 'compensation' of 12 first class stamps (the postage cost me £7 and the item £30) as I didn't have a receipt proving the items worth, my opinion is a bit lower lol. Unfortunatly theres little other choice but use them.
