The least worst option (Royal Mail)
Member Name: warandpeace
Advantages: Quick delivery generally cheap as well Disadvantages: Marred by industrial action
If you live in the UK, chances are that at some point or another you have had some experience with the royal mail both as a sender and a receiver. Moreover despite the criticism they have come under they remain one of the best and most affordable ways of getting something from one end of the country to another, what other service for example lets you send a DVD to any part of the UK to another for less than a pound, and more likely than not get it their next day. Why do I use the example of the DVD, rather than a letter, this is largely down to the change in how royal mail is used. The letter may be dying, but for DVD's, books, and most other small packages, the royal mail remains the most reliable and the best. Summary: When it works its great but when it dousn't it really dousn't |
