Disgraceful is the first word to describe the service of Royal Mail. I say that because in my area they have not been good at all with their service. I use to get DVD rentals of Lovefilm but they were stolen of the postal workers or either delivered to the wrong address! When chasing Royal Mail up about the problem they used to say sorry and say ... Read the complete review

havent you thought of blaming whoever sent you the letter without the correct postage in the first place?
if it wasnt for that, then there wouldnt have been any issues.
also, as for the badge on the birthday card.... it would have been the size of the card that made it into a large letter item not the badge.

The Royal Mail is the major player in the postal services sector of who through their connections with the Post Office are able to offer up a variety of postal services and options. I am someone who has a love of internet shopping and also sell online sometimes meaning that I have regular experiences and interactions from the Royal Mail and ... Read the complete review

I've known many lovely dedicated postpeople over the years, and I hope no-one will take personal offence at this, but I'm really angry, and £11.08 out of pocket so I will have my say! I was given a card by my postman this morning, buried amongst other letters - presumably so I didn't hold him up by querying it. It said that ... Read the complete review

Her majesty's Royal mail is one of the best things that Britain had to offer, it delivers letters, parcels, packaging and almost everything and anything you can think of that people send to each other. This all goes through the Royal mail. It would be great, if only every single blue moon the postal workers would not go on strike due to ... Read the complete review

Royal mail is the main postal and delivery service in the UK. I am going to give a mixed review about it as there are things i like about it and hate about it. Firstly a little bit about the company itself. Royal Mail have been serving the public for over 360 years. They employ around 193, 000 staff in the UK which they say is almost 1% ... The Royal Mail is our main postal system across the country. With there connections with the post office the royal mail collects and delivers everything from letters to parcels across the country and ships abroad. As an online retailer I rely heavily on the royal mail to despatch all of my sale items. As a regular user I have daily ... Read the complete review

Royal Mail is one of those services that you use on a regular basis or receive the benefits of on a regular basis yet never think about it much (at least I don't). You may use their post offices to take out insurance, cash your benefits or simply to post letters or packages. Their service may bring letters and parcels to you on a ... Read the complete review

Royal Mail have been a huge pain in the back side to me in the last couple of months. They have left my parcels outside without even telling me about it. They put a Nintendo Wii outside my house near the bin. They had no rights doing that and somebody stole my parcel! How smart was it of the driver to leave it outside like that? They did ... If you live in the UK, chances are that at some point or another you have had some experience with the royal mail both as a sender and a receiver. Moreover despite the criticism they have come under they remain one of the best and most affordable ways of getting something from one end of the country to another, what other service for example lets ... Too be honest, in the past I have always had a good service from Royal Mail whether it was due to receiving all my post within the time frame stated or not having any problems what so ever in sending items, as it has always arrived at the right place and within their stated time frame. It seemed to be a reliable method, but the past year or so has ... Read the complete review

Royal mail... My granddad used to work for them and I often get the reminiscence of "it wasn't like that in my day" when I visit him on Saturdays and I'm told it took him 45 minutes to queue and collect his pension (45 MINUTES!!! - apparently that was a good day!) And the level of service. Having read the reviews, I feel ... Read the complete review

I have read a few reviews and spoken to people who have a very poor opinion of Royal Mail, however for me their service has always been very good. I have used many of their services, a few to mention are special delivery and the redirection service that they offer. Their Special Delivery is very good, I always send items using this when I want a ... Read the complete review

Royal Mail is everyone's nearly number one choice for sending parcels and items with. Royal Mail offers a decent service to its customers whether its at the post office, the big depots or when their drivers come to you. They do however at times have the odd problems. In my town there has been a problem of thieves yes thieving postmen stealing ... Read the complete review

Royal Mail are unfortunately a postal service that most companies use and most people use due to the relative high costs of couriers. However, as the saying goes...you get what you pay for...or in Royal Mail's case you sometimes don't! I don't think it even matters where you live, they are the same all over...from Essex, to Plymouth to Sheffield ... Read the complete review

I can't understand what has gone so terrible wrong with Royal Mail! This year they have so far 'lost' at least three of my expected deliveries. The first, a package from the major supplier Amazon (who they should be nurturing) was eventually returned to them - a month after they had reimbursed me for the non-receipt. I suspect another expected ... Read the complete review

I sent a 1st Class "recorded / signed for package for delivery in London. It was accepted by my local Post Office and should have been delivered to an ebayer purchaser within 2 days. It wasn't! I was inspired to write this review after having used Royal Mail's Recorded Delivery Services to send out lots of packages to my buyers on Ebay and Amazon's Marketplace. royal mail sucks! I used recorded sign for, for 8 very important legal documents. 1 got lost, 2 have never been deliver and 3 they claim were delivered but they obtained no signature, so I have no proof. Also had few parcels arranged for delivery at home, I wasn't in so used online redelivery service, never arrived.
Getting through to Customer Service is IMPOSSIBLE. They do everything to physically can to prevent you talking to them. I wrote letter and completed their P58 forms, sent 16th February, not even an acknowledgement. Took me almost 2 hours to complete these forms, don't even give you option to type them, you have to hand write them in great detail and one for every item.
I hate Royal Mail and I hate that you have no option but to use them if you want to post anything.

The Royal Mail is one of the best things that has ever happened to this country, that and along with the NHS. Although it do have its downpoints, I think that this service is brilliantly.
