Never get anything delivered by these!

A WARNING TO ALL OF YOU DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
I originally never realised when ordering my nursery set from very.co.uk that yodel would be delivering it and now that I have bee through the trauma of getting something delivered by them I would never voluntarily get something delivered by these.
They call themselves a delivery company however i am not sure how this is the case when they seem to do very little of the delivering.
When ordering my nursery set I was told by very that it would be delivered the following day as they were in my area. I was told it would be any time between 7am-7pm. As i was getting my furniture a lot earlier then expected I was happy to cancel my plans and stay in for the day.
However when 7.10pm came i was more then a little unhappy. I phones very who were very understanding and said they had sent it to the delivery company and gave me a number of the company yodel to call.
So i called yodel and after getting through a very complicated menu spoke to a very rude man who told me that my furniture didn't have to be delivered for a few days. After arguing with the man on the phone explaining how I had paid delivery and was told it would be delivered and had cancelled plans to stay in he said he would get it delivered between 7-7 the next day. However I then explained I would be out in the morning as I had to do the things I had cancelled that day. He said in that case it would be delivered after 12 which i was happy with.
However after returning home I found a card in the door from yodel saying they had tried to deliver a parcel at 10am but no-one was in! By this point I was fuming as i had already told the man from yodel i wouldn't be in at this time. So again i rang yodel to tell them my furniture hadn't been delivered at the time i was told. This time I spoke to a woman who didn't seem to care about my problems. She told me they didn't deliver at specified times and should of stayed in.
Eventually the following day after staying in 7-7 they did turn up with the furniture i had ordered. The delivery men were helpful and polite which I didn't expect after dealing with some of the yodel staff over the phone. But after that fiasco I wouldn't use them again
