I travelled in midweek and the boat was absolutely dead, after standing out on deck watching North Shields disappear in to the distance, I headed in to find few people on the boat - it seemed that everyone had headed straight for their cabins. The boat had the usual services, such as a shop, restaurant and bar but it seemed like a boat largely designed for sleeping and their were floors and rows filled with cabins. Not one to be beaten, over the next few days I spent a lot of time on the site, and amazingly came up trumps winning a cruise for 2 which I booked for Sunday 18th November for hubby and me. The cruise was free, and I had to pay £8 fuel surcharge, so still a bargain in my eyes. It was all booked online, which was simple and straightforward. The cruises depart on alternate days each week (eg Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday), with the ...  Read the complete review
