I can only comment on the arriva services in the Loughborough area where the primary service is the 127. I often have to use this route for getting from home to both friends houses and to school earlier in the year and my experiences were nothing but rubbish. The prices have risen a ridiculous amount. It costs me 2 pounds to get from my house to Loughborough, a journey that takes around 7-8 minutes to the centre of the town. For that the only plus point is that i get to flick through the metro paper, that is where the positives end. The buses are dirty and smelly and the drivers are so unhelpful, it is almost as if it is a real chore for them stopping to take your money ...

Arriva Trains Wales - I've read many reviews but my main issue with ATW is the lack of rubbish clearance on trains by staff. I object to sitting amongst empty beer cans left by previous passengers, only once have I seen a guard actually collect rubbish into a bag. Other train operators take pride in their rolling stock especially London Midland but ATW seemingly couldn't care less, nice new paint jobs outside don't impress when the job is half done and the interiors are in need of refurbishment. It's a shame about the cleanliness, because that aside the ATW class 175 units in North Wales are really pleasant trains to ride in, comfortable seats, spacious, quiet ...

on 25/11/2007 i returned to Liverpool airport and proceed to get on the arriva 14.06 bus 82a to Aigburth Road. I had stopped off at the cash point and got a ten pound note-legal tender. I tendered this to the bus driver who refused to take it has he was on begining his shift and had no change/float. I asked could he wait until i got change he replied NO he was leaving now and i would have to get off the bus. He stated that if i wanted change i would have to go to the depot in Runcorn as any further change he would get between the airport and aigburth road would be for his float and not me. He refused to give me his name and then ordered me off the bus. A taxi would not ...
