Unfortunately i have to use the bus to get to work, and in my area are the Arriva buses.

** What do i think of the Arriva company**

I have had many troubles with the buses in my area, and i have had to write and complain a number of times. I have always had a prompt letter back apologising, but still, the problem would remain. Lately, i have had drivers that could just about speak english, and i found it impossible to explian to him what ticket i wanted. I had to point on the screen where i wanted to go and what ticket i wanted. This took me around 5 minutes, and the passengers were not best pleased.

I have also had a number of rude drivers, who have no manners.

** Are the buses reliable**

NO! Okay, they turn up, but never turn up on time, and the timetable at my stop is never stuck to. I need to get to work on time, so now have to leave that little bit earlier, so i get to work on time.

** What are the bueses like?**

The buses in Kent have recently all been updated. They are now very modern, and clean. Its definately nice to travel in new nice buses then old double decker buses.

** Value for money**

NO! I think the bus fares have gone up twice so far this year. Once at the start of the year, then again in September. They say its to do with oil prices etc, but recently i have noticed the oil prices coming down, so why do they need to increase the cost of bus travel again? A single to town is £2.60, and a return is £4.50. This is not value for money, the town is around 10 minutes away.

** Overall**

Arriva need to think about what the customers want, and lower the price of travel. Its getting too expensive.
