Arriva - Bus ride from hell (Arriva)

Unfortunately I often have to get the bus into our nearest town, Crewe, as my partner has our car for work.

I generally find the drivers on our local Arriva buses to be rude, arrogant people who frequently pay no attention to speed limits whatsoever.

Today I had to go into town so I waited for my bus, which was of course late. The driver stopped an lowered the step down so I could push my baby on in his pram, and I paid my £1.60 fare with a £10 note.
The look on the drivers face was one of utter astonishment, youd have thought id tried to pay him with a snotty tissue!!
He was tutting and muttering under his breath, so I said 'Sorry I didnt realise you didnt accept £10 notes'. I got no reply.

He then drove into town at an unacceptable speed. When we got to the station he wouldnt let the step down for my sons pram so I had to struggle to get it down a huge step while the driver looked on smirking.

I will no doubt have to use Arriva again as its the only bus service in our area.

Summary: A company who should be ashamed of their staff
