Carnival cruises, excellent service, could improve on dining room food (Carnival Cruise Lines)

Disadvantages: not enough food served in dining room

Took a Carnival cruise to Nassau and Freeport end of May of this year. All employees provided wonderful service. We were pampered, and made to feel like royalty. Our room was made up twice a day. The cabin steward assisted us with our every request. The food in "Windows on the Sea" was great! We ate there throughout most of the trip. Captain's cocktail party was fun. The entertainment equaled anything in Las Vegas. The only problem we encountered was the food in the formal dining room. I like to eat, I want good food and lots of it. The food in the formal dining room was designed to look "pretty", and was of small quantities. Yes, we could always ask for more, but that took time and caused us to miss some of evenings entertainment. This was the only thing I found I didn't like about the cruise. When I returned home I called Carnival and talked to someone in their customer relations department. They were very apologetic about the problem in the dining room. To make up for what happened they sent me a certificate for 15% off my next cruise, and a $200.00 shipboard credit. I will definately use Carnival for my next cruise.
