Advantages: Apparently cheap, if nothing goes wrong

Disadvantages: Hours spent on phone dealing with this stuff.

I have to agree that their customer service sets a new standard for how low can you go. My wife rented a car in Malaga. The reservation was easy and picking up the car was easy. It's all down hill from there, however. First, the car had something wrong with its brakes. It was making a sqealing noise that was so loud that pedestrians would cover their ears and motion for my wife to get going or to fix the problem. She spent part of her second day of vacation finding somoene to fix the A class. Second, on her second to last day, the car broke down on a highway. They had to call someone to pick up the car, and take a cab to their destination. Not only did my wife and her brother lose most of their day, but they had no car for the last day. EasyRent refused to a) pay for the cab that they had to take to get to their destination and b) shockingly, they refused to CREDIT us for the day of rental that we lost!

I know they are about to open an office in New York. If they give this kind of "service" in the USA, they'll last 3 months. My advice, probably to pay the extra money to go with a reliable company.

PS I havent gotten my credit card bill yet, but I'm going to be on the look out for extra costs...
