Advantages: quick when it works
Disadvantages: boring,poorly run
eurotunnel treat you like cattle !! the ferry is so much better than this pathetically run anglo french garbage.
sure its quick ( 35 mins from platform to platform) but when we used it last time, they cancelled our train, and we were made to sit outside for 45 mins in the red hot midday sun! sure we went into the terminal to do some shopping, but there is only so long you can stay in a packed mini shopping centre selling mainly beer and ciggies !!
even when your train is running they now force you to their shopping terminal, instead of just geting on your train, what happened to the old system they promised of just turn up and go ?
even when you are on the train its as exciting as watching paint dry, they tell you a million times keep your car doors shut, but half of the morons that get on, leave them wide open so u can barely squeeze past if you want to go to the "luxurious" on board toilets.and eurotunnel radio is a treat, they only have 2 songs!!
do yourself a favour get on the ferry,

- 21/05/01 I'm afraid that you recollection of using Eurotunnel doesn't bare up to much considering how brilliant it is in getting you from A2B. At least there's no cancellations due to fog, bad weather, rough seas, and sea-port strikes in France. I know that Eurotunnel has it's teething problems, but a 35 mins trip with even a 45 minute delay is a lot quicker than what you end up with travelling on the ferry most of the time. At least on the train your not waiting for the prat to get in his car/van/lorry in fromt before you can move off and out of the hull and onto the docks!
