I didn't know what to expect from the eurostar when we went to Paris recently. Would it be just like a normal train? A bit more like a plane on wheels? So a little apprehensive, we boarded at St Pancras Station in London. Upon arrival at the station, we had to locate the automatic ticket machine so that our tickets could be produced. ... I recently went to Paris on the Eurostar, I choose this method due to its convenience although price obviously helped. I live on the main line train route that goes straight in to St Pancras in 20 minutes. So getting off the main line train and walking a few yards to the Eurostar terminal was ideal and very easy. The Eurostar terminal ... Read the complete review

The Eurostar is a high speed railway passenger service connecting London with France and Belgium. All its trains cross under the English Channel via the channel tunnel, owned and operated separately by Eurotunnel. The official opening took place in May 1994. In England the train has stops in Ashford, Kent and St Pancras London, in France, Pairs ... Read the complete review

Eurostar is a fab way to travel: after you've travelled to London, in just over the time you would normally spend waiting around in airport lounge, you're already in Paris! It doesn't take much longer to get to Brussels either. For Disney, try getting a normal to Paris, then getting the Metro from there if no special deals are ... Read the complete review

Eurostar. Eurostar offer high speed rail service between London, Paris, Brussels and Lille connecting to the onward rail networks throughout Europe. It is absolutely fantastic that you can do this without taking a plane and often works out just as cheap as flying and in terms of saving money it is quite good too. This ... Read the complete review

We took a family trip to the south of France via Paris in August 2009. I've been convinced high speed train travel is the future for some time, but this is the first time we experienced the reality - did it live up to our high expectations? We caught the train from Ashford, which was painless - far less hassle than a plane. The trip ... Read the complete review

Occasionally it seems people moan about Eurostar, that it's late or difficult to fit your donkey load of suitcases on the train. I've never been on the trains solely for passengers but have made use of the Bolougne-Folkstone connection for cars. Whether it's the connections to Lille, Belgium, Paris or just the one going through the tunnel itself, ... Read the complete review

I have travelled to Paris a few times but for both myself and my boyfriend this recent trip to Paris was the first time either of us had used Eurostar to get there and after this experience it will probably be our first choice from now on. The new departure station of Kings Cross St Pancras is very modern and well set out and the ... Read the complete review

I have only used the Eurostar direct service from Waterloo/St Pancreas to Disney Paris (Marne le Valle) so my review is based on this journey. The Eurostar tickets tend to be cheaper the earlier you book them, but from my experiance tend to be cheaper than flying. The new terminal at St Pancreas is huge and joined on to Kings Cross tube ... We used the Eurostar to go from London to Disneyland Paris last year. This was the first time we had been on it, so we were unsure of what to expect. We arrived at the station in good time, and as I had got an e-ticket I had to use the machines provided to print out a paper ticket. The machines are easy to use - you just put in the details off ... I recently went to Paris. I have been going to the continent for years and normally drive. Thi time I decided to go by train on the Eurostar. It leaves from St Pancras station in London. The station is big, and has been modernised for Eurostar travellers, and so there are many things to do whilst your waiting for your train. Shopping, ... Read the complete review

When I went to Paris we got there by train on the Eurostar. It leaves from St Pancras station in London. We had to get the train from Leeds to Kings Cross, then we walked across the road to St Pancras. The station itself is massive so theres loads to do whilst your waiting for your train like shops, cafes and information about the ... Read the complete review

I've travelled on the Eurostar a few times now and thought to review it when I just got an email a few minutes ago informing me that my upcoming trip is subject to delays thanks to the recent fire in the tunnel forcing trains to take a small diversion around the work area. The first time I went on the Eurostar I was surprised by ... Read the complete review

I was very excited when my boyfriend and I decided to book a long weekend to Bruges for our anniversary, I had never been on the Eurostar before, neither had my boyfriend, so it was all very exciting. We went on the Eurostar website to book the trip, and found if you book a couple of months before, and go early in the morning, you can ... Read the complete review

Maybe I have been unlucky but I have used Eurostar 5 times and never had a good experience. I used it in April from St. Pancras - Gare du Nord and was delayed for 1 hour (in the tunnel!) outbound, then 2 hours inbound at Gare du Nord. St. Pancras is great but Gare du Nord is simply horrible and you have to queue for ages. The seats ... Read the complete review

I travelled on the Eurostar for the first time on 14th July 2008 going from St Pancras International (London) to Gare du Nord (Paris). The tickets arrive within the week and included information about the check in procedures and the ... Read the complete review

I love Eurostar though the knee room in the standard seats is a bit mean and there seems to be no way of selecting seats at a table. The important thing is to book as early as you can, prices go up as the date of travel approaches and the cheaper seats are taken up. A case in point is that I wanted to take a maybe rather daft day trip to Avignon ... Read the complete review

The other weekend a friend and I went to Brussels for a day to do some Christmas shopping and visit their Christmas market. We had booked our Eurostar tickets way back in September. All I can say is, WOW! This train is alot better than flying, If I knew it was this great I would have gotten a round trip ticket from London to Paris and back.
