Advantages: They are efficient at taking payments, also good at collecting items
Disadvantages: They stole out of the bags, and ripped up one of the bags
Do not use this company!!
I airfreighted three bags to the USA from London, hardly the most dangerous of routes. Two were broken into and employees of the company/ their associates helped themselves to a laptop and camera in one of them. One of the bags was delivered destroyed (the bag had been ripped open and most valuable items removed, documents stolen etc etc). Fortunately I did have insurance but the actual lack of respect for customers by the company is shocking. I could sort of understand it if the bag was lost, but the fact that the bag was not under tight security at all times is shocking.
Whats more, when I said i would like a refund of the cost of sending the bags, EBC basically told be to hit the road, as they had "delivered" the bags. Lets me tell you something, delivering a shell of a ripped up suitcase is not rendering the service. And wait until you have the "priviledge" of speaking to their head of customer services!!!
Another example of an organisation that just doesnt care. Zero progress in the investigation 3 weeks later. Well people, if you want my advice, avoid this company like the plague!!! Maybe then they will start treating customers with some respect
Summary: A disastrous experience, would have been cheaper to just send someone to deliver the bags
