Well, where do I start!? First buses in Norwich are frequently very late (the timetables for the rush hour are unrealistic) or cancelled (sometimes 2 in a row). All the buses are dirty and many of them are very old. Many of the drivers drive in ways that are disrespectful to other road users, for example 'cutting up' car drivers who are about to turn onto a main road from a side road. They also drive off quickly as soon as you get your ticket, making it difficult to sit down safely.

The reason I give First 2/5 and not 1/5, however, is because the timekeeping and overall condition of the buses COULD be worse!

Soon I'm going to try Anglian Bus, which I have only recently found out serves part of my area of Norwich, to get to college instead.

I stumbled across this site & felt I had to add my own experience of First Buses - they have to be a contender for the worst company I have ever come across. I have just learned that First Buses employ Rentakill to use sniper type pellet guns to kill pigeons in their garages! This is disgusting and I am appalled that this is being allowed to happen. Absoloutley AWFUL. I have to use a First SCHOOL Bus (Ages 11-18).
