The Green Tortoise is a bus company which takes you on the most random and fantastic holidays you will ever have been on! They're based in San Francisco, USA, and most of their trips take place on the west coast, but there are a number of coast to coast routes as well. Basically, you sign up for a trip, often about a week in length, and you spend this time driving from place to place. They take in a number of national parks, which are nigh on impossible to reach by public transport. At night, you either camp, sleep under the stars, or sleep on the bus.
