Hull trains is a service that runs between Hull and Londons Kings Cross 3-4 times a day. Its only 2 years only but, judging by the overcrowded trains, the best way of getting to Hull, and the cheapest. With a young Persons railcard, an open return costs £30 compared to £48 with GNER (and then you'll probably have to change at Doncaster to one of Arriva's nasty 'Bus-trains'. Its a fairly punctual service, which takes about three hours to complete. Stops at Grantham, Doncaster, Selby and Brough. The trains always have a buffett desk serving drinks, snacks and sandwiches.
