Eurostar:
... recently went to Paris on the Eurostar, I choose this method due to its convenience although price obviously helped. I live on the main line train route that goes straight in to St Pancras in 20 minutes. So getting off the main line train and walking a few yards to the Eurostar terminal was ideal and very easy. The Eurostar terminal is actually in St Pancras station, not the underground bit (or Kings Cross). It is... Read the full review: Eurostar it to Europe! by Absy_Baby |

Merseyrail ... rely on Merseyrail on a daily basis for my commute to work. I live in Liverpool and commute to the Wirral. Merseyrail operates across Liverpool and the Wirral and from my experience they have been punctual 99% of the time. Only occasionally have the trains been cancelled and when they have, a very reliable replacement bus service has replaced them. So for punctuality and reliability they get top marks from me. Cleanliness of the trains is also pretty good, there are often cleaners on the train walking up and down picking up rubbish that commuters have left behind. Unfortunately, the commuters leave so much rubbish behind it seems like an endless battle for them. ... Read the full review: Quick & easy way to get across Merseyside by manonfireuk |

Virgin Trains ... trains are a fantastic company. I travelled on them every weekend from my home to my ex-bfs and I can say they were the best company that I travelled with. I normally start my virgin experience from Birmingham New street. Were all of the staff have always been really positive and excellent customer service has been shown. I have arthritis and they have always helped me when I have struggled with baggage. The reps are excellent in providing information on the best available ticket for your journey and also the cheapest. Once up on the train I have found them to be extremely comfortable and easy to locate your carriage if you have reserved a seat, which is always g...
