Virgin Trains ... business experience in all classes of Virgin train have been a mixture of OK and awful and I have never met the cheery, have a drink staff that have been mentioned, either in First Class or on these pages. I hope they exist. Occasionally I get the attendant who dishes out the necessary but more often the Buffet car is closed, the supplies haven t arrived or they have run-out of things. This happens, but surely they must get to know what is popular? My most recent horror story is the experience of my Disabled wife, on 2 identical journeys and both ending-up like a trip in a cattle truck. Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Francais SNCF (France) ... once told me that, no matter how overrated many French products and things can sometimes be.....(no offense to any of the French happening to read this right now =), they do have amazing Transportation systems. Whomever told me this, I can t remember anymore. I would love to tell that guy/girl though that.....he/she is .......deluded. What they were especially deluded about is the TRAIN system.
