	Virgin Trains ... recently traveled from my hometown of Lincoln all the way to my girlfriend s in Prestatyn Wales. Most of the trains I traveled on were dirty, uncomfortable, noisy and slow. Then I boarded a Virgin train. There was nothing. A gentle breeze through an open window 12 miles away could be heard as the Virgin train I traveled on hurtled along making next to no sound at all. After my previous encounter with trains I did not think this was possible. Furthermore, the trains are designed with passenger comfort and pleasure in mind. 	Virgin Trains ... Reasons to travel by Virgin Trains: well It s a lot faster than driving from Manchester to London, the Virgin train can do this route in about 2 Hours 20 Minutes, You get the comfort of those blue and red seats, along with a selection of table seat areas and if you want to stretch your legs then you can walk up to the cafe and buy an assortment of magazines, sandwhiches, cold drinks and hot drinks. The Train speeds along at about 125 Miles per hour but the tilting mechanism makes you feel very comfortable allowing for a smooth ride, enabling you to read your books in a quiet carriage, or use your laptop as the trains come complete with powersockets. 	Railcards in general ... bought my first ever railcard this year - I am a devoted driver and the cost of fuel versus the cost of going by train has never really compared whether there was one of you in the car or four. I personally never felt that I used the train enough to re-coup the cost of the railcard - how wrong!. I bought my card via a link on money saving expert for £18 as opposed to £24, there have been promotions since giving you 3 months free and then buy for £12 for the year.
