As a business user, I have found Sixt to be an excellent car rental Company. My preference is to reserve via phone and I have found Sixt Customer services to be friendly, professional and supportive. All home deliveries through a local Sixt agent have been prompt and as I generally hire a car for European mainland travel, all documentation, insurance and associated needs have been taken care of efficiently. The option to download an invoice after return of vehicle is a refreshing change. Furthermore, on a recent minor enquiry, I felt that Sixt Customer Services went "that extra mile" to support me. I would recommend you consider Sixt.

I rented a car from Sixt after booking this wehn i booked my flight to Manchester. the information sent was good and i was therfore able to find theri offices fairly easily. the staff were helpful and freindly adn assisted me to my vehicle.the car itself was new, clean and it was very helpful that it had a full tank of petrol.The process of returning the vehicle was very easy as teh drop of key box was easy to find.

Three years ago we sold our car and decided to rent when ever we needed one, family visits, Christmas even trips to B&Q etc. It works out a lot cheaper over the year. We researched rental companies and Sixt met all our requirements, local, good range of cars and well priced. The bow branch was a bit shabby but the staff helpful and friendly, they know us now and make a real effort to make sure we are happy, the Sixt card really speeds things up too. The office has now had a make over and comes up to the service levels of the staff. I cant really fault them. We certainly wouldn't go any where else now.I would just say loose the Vauxhall Meriva, a weird car and over designed inside. We've asked not to have it again, also really inefficient on fuel.

I recently rented a van from Sixt in Shaftesbury. Online booking was clear and uncomplicated, reception at Shaftesbury was excellent - courteous and professional. The vehicle was clean and return was straightforward. I would rent a vehicle from Sixt in Shaftesbury again without hesitation.

I rented a panel van for a couple of days from Sixt. I wanted to provide a quick overview of the experience. The price was really competitive - better than any other locally. The booking was easy wia the Web Portal and the ability to log the full details of licence etc made the hand over very simple. The rental unit folks were efficient and ensured they had captured any vehicle defects, and described how the vehicle operated. Van was very clean both in cab and load area. Hand back was also very rapid, with helpful staff. They made sure I knew to refill the van before returning as the charge per litre was (really) high if they did it for me. It all worked well for me and I would recommend this company and use them again.

Have started using Sixt over the past year at Heathrow. Like the website for making bookings and arranging quick pick-up. Although the previous hire resulted in a GBP 75 charge for damage it was queried and a full refund made. It would help if i had been advised that my complaint had been succesfully dealt with instead of just finding the credit on my next statement. (Lesson learnt - make sure you get someone to inspect the car before you leave the premises and get a receipt - maybe difficult at Manchester Airport.) I have no other complaints and will continue to use Sixt.

I rented a car recently with SixT Cardiff, prepaid online made everything else simple. Pick up was quick and best customer service. Also when returning the car I was dropped off at my door step, wonderful!!! The car was in clean, ran smoothly without any fault, comfortable, made driving worthwhile. Am booking again with SixT, dont be bothered by the rest, rest assured SixT is the best.

I am a gold member at SIXT and therefore might get a different service than others. I have rented several cars at Manchester Airport during Q1/2011. The guys at the front desk are really kind and quick. Quicker than their German counterparts at check-in. All data is already available [drivers licence id, home address]. Even if I arrived late because of delays with my flights, they were still waiting for me after 23:00.The cars are always neat and clean and well equipped (BMW 120d).The location on the 13th floor is really poor though and complicated to access. Sometimes the cars are located in the public area which is rather big and some time is necessary to find the car.

We recently rented a car from Sixt in the Manchester airport. We had booked online and paid ahead of time which actually made it easier. Once we arrived, the gentleman there walked us through the contract and was very kind. The car was perfect and just what we wanted...easy in, easy out. I would rent from Sixt again.

I recently rented a car from Sixt in Chelsea. Despite being quite late picking up the car, which caused significant logistical problems for the rental office, they were extremely polite, went out of their way to ensure I got the car I had originally ordered and generally provided exceptional service. The car was in immaculate condition, it offered great value for money and was a huge pleasure to drive. All in all, a very enjoyable experience, thank you Sixt!

I am surprised about the 2 star rating, as my experience of using Sixt was worth at least 4, if not 5 stars. I recently rented a VW Polo from the Sixt office at Heathrow.
