Note: I am reviewing the Virgin Trains website, not the actual train service. Although that is incredibly good.

The Virgin Trains website is probably the easiest and best website to book train tickets in the United Kingdom. From the first time I ever booked tickets here, this has been the only place I look. No other website competes with Virgin Trains.

The website is simple and straight forward, that even a monkey could book tickets. All you have to do is enter your "To and From" details, whether you want a single or return and the dates you will be departing and returning. Then you get the choice of what times you want to be traveling on the train. Then choose how many people are traveling. Its all that simple and quick.

The payment is also very easy and quick. You can choose to pay online or at the station. If you choose online, your credit/debit card details are taken and payment is made quickly. Most cards are taken such as MasterCard, Visa, Solo etc. You then choose to either have your tickets sent to you which takes around 3-4 days or to pick them up at the train station. The ticket prices are always so reasonable and cheap. This is a huge bonus for me and really the main reason why I book with Virgin Trains.

Overall, I find that Virgin Trains is a quick and easy way of booking train tickets at your convenience.
