Virgin trains are a fantastic company. I travelled on them every weekend from my home to my ex-bfs and I can say they were the best company that I travelled with. I normally start my virgin experience from Birmingham New street. Were all of the staff have always been really positive and excellent customer service has been shown. I have arthritis and they have always helped me when I have struggled with baggage. The reps are excellent in providing information on the best available ticket for your journey and also the cheapest.

Once up on the train I have found them to be extremely comfortable and easy to locate your carriage if you have reserved a seat, which is always good. The onboard entertainment is excellent, you have the radio with several options to choose from which is good as it also supplies a Childs channel so keeps your children happy on long journeys.

The trains are always clean and tidy and I have always seen a person cleaning train for rubbish while we are on our journey, unlike other private train companies! The seating choice is great especially if you need a table for doing work on the laptop upon going back to university. All staff are friendly on bored. The on bored cafe is brilliant and offers a wide range of products including earphones in case you have forgotten your own!

On one occasion due to a problem on the line between Manchester and Birmingham we were delayed heavily (stuck between two stations). I missed the last train back to my home town and virgin paid for the expense of the taxi from Birmingham to my final location, I did pay £3.50 to take me to my door extra, but it was fantastic that I didn't have to worry about that as a young female alone at 1am in the morning. They also refunded my ticket price.

Over all I am extremely pleased with virgin and would recommend to anyone, well done virgin excellent service!
