Jubilee Line:
... Central line was my first-ever experience of the Tube. Having come down from Oxford on the coach for a job interview, I was swept into Marble Arch station, eastbound towards Canary Wharf. The journey from Marble Arch to Bond Street (unbeknownst to me, a short 5 minute walk away from one another) at 9 in the morning, in my finest suit, was harrowing and sweaty. Emerging from that journey, I scrabbled onto the Jubi... Read the full review: Jubilee Line - just make alternative travel plans on the weekend by grey0220 |

Megabus ... have travelled from Bournemouth to London several times on the MegaBus and Megatrain services, and they are brilliant. Always on time and clean. Much cheaper tickets than thetrainline.com! The Megatrain service is provided by southwest trains and will cost you double if you book through a rail travel site. I really think Megabus is a brilliant idea, tickets to London from Bournemouth are usually between £8 and £12, which is loads cheaper than tickets offered elsewhere. It s nice to think that the rest of Britain can be more accessible, espeically as a Northerner stuck down in Bournemouth and missing home! I would certainly consider using the service to travel back h... Read the full review: mega savings on megabus and megatrain by KaribouFluff |

Glasgow Underground ... Glasgow Underground is the underground train system which takes you around Central & the West of Glasgow. It is called the Subway by just about everyone and this idea that it is known as The Clockwork Orange is complete rubbish! Nobody in Glasgow calls it that! So, here are the ins and outs of the subway! .::History::. The Glasgow Underground was opened in 1896 making it the third oldest subway after London and Budapest. It converted from steam railway to electric over a 10 year period starting in 1923. It was then closed for 3 years from 1977 as it was modernised. I couldn t imagined living without the subway for 3 years! So 113 years later, it still stands! .... Read the full review: The Clockwork Orange... by xKatieeex |

Underground in general ... went to London this week for a short break with my boyfriend and there was a lot of travelling from the airport to the hotel to the shops and vice versa. One of the main methods of travel we used was the underground tube system in London. If you have never used the Underground, it is a rapid transit system serving a large part of London. I used it mainly to get to places like Kings Cross station and Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square for shopping and the cinema. As im Agoraphobic, i was panicing big time about this as im really bad and have panic attacks a lot in large groups of people. If you have visited London, you will understand what i mean when i say its n... Read the full review: Need to get somewhere fast? by sexyminxy |
