Buses in Glasgow ... Im writing this review about the first bus service in Lanarkshire. I only started using the buses last year and have had a number of awful experiences, is it just me? I find alot of the drivers rude and unhelpful, and the attitude of 1 driver in particular, it was about 5 weeks ago I got on the 267 from brandon parade and was going a few stops to taggarts on windmillhill street motherwell this fare was always 90p, and that is what I always paid, on this occasion the driver said it was 1.20, when I questioned this he got so aggressive and advised me I have been paying the wrong fare all this time? Confused and wet!! I only had 1coin in change, so the driver said he co... Read the full review: No customer service with first bus drivers! by mmmIdontknow |

Trent Barton ... Barton is one of my local bus companies, and probably the best-known company in Nottingham, I would say. They operate a range of bus services both within Nottingham and as far out as Derby, and a lot of bus services could learn a thing or two from them! One of the most well-known set of buses are the Rainbow buses. Each is a different colour on the outside, and they follow common routes from the outskirts of Nottingham to the city centre and back. There used to be five of them, but the Rainbow 5 has now been renamed indigo for some reason, which I ll cover in a minute. The Rainbow buses and the indigo cost £1.60 for a single journey within a certain (wide) area... Read the full review: Leather seats and reasonable prices by jennikitten |

Birmingham New Street Train Station ... I passed through Birmingham New Street station the other day, there was a display in the concourse showing a model of the latest new and improved proposals to turn the place into somewhere vaguely fit for human beings. It looked quite nice, if indeed you like the idea of a station that s eighteen inches high and made out of plaster! But seriously, forgive me if at this point I emit some hollow laughter, as we ve been here many, many times before, and at the time of writing the place is still a tip. New Street is the largest station in Birmingham, and one of the busiest of all outside London. If you re travelling cross-country, you re very likely to have to change tr...
