Newmark is the worst bus/coach company in the world as far as I'm concerned. A bit of a rash statement, and probably not entirely true (ie I'm sure there's some African bus company that's worse but.....). When you are relying on these jokers to take you to and from school each day (thankfully that has now come to an end, but still) it can really get to you.

Firstly, because we are just "school kids" it is ok to give us the shabbiest oldest death traps of busses that are available... so not only do you not entirely feel safe when on them, but they often brake down either when you're on them, or before they get to you. So when it's pouring down with rain, and you've been waiting in town for 50 mins longer than usual (well.... "usual"?????) and the bus rolls up, and you ask "where have you been???" They say "well we broke down, it wasn't our fault" Who's bloody well fault is it that we have such shocking busses that always brake down then?????

Another time we got on the bus and were told "don't sit at the back, cos the tires are a bit bald, and I think the brakes are going. We saw a bit of smoke go up a minute a go" and the git behind the wheel was laughing about this??? I kissed the earth after getting off that one.

It is shocking and needs attention. It is not just this company either, as none of my friends have even halfway decent busses.

I have abandonned it, and am going by train next year... which means a longer walk, but what are ya gonna do?
