Oyster Card:
... Oyster card was introduced with a view at reducing the need to carry cash on buses and transport in London in general. The card itself is a magnetic card which needs to be preloaded with money and can be used on all buses in London, on the Tube network and nowadays pretty much the whole rail system too (within Greater London) In order to "force" the use of the card, the fares for travels with no Oyste... Stoke-on-Trent Train Station ... what can I say about goold old Stoke station?!! Hopefully quite a lot. Parking= Almost directly opposite, by the Royal Mail sorting office, a largeish car park which always seems to have spaces. Of course very expensive as they all are and best avoided at possible. Surrounding area/location= Directly opposite is the North Staffs Hotel, which looks very nice although never needed to stop here of course. A Subway sandwich shop is also practically opposite. It is located in Stoke, one of the six towns which collectively make up Stoke on Trent. The town of Stoke is the cities administrative capital housing the Civic Centre. It is a ten minute bus ride from the station... Read the full review: Once you arrive, you'll never leave............ by heynonnynonny |

Manchester Piccadilly Station ... Piccadilly is an excellent modern train station which is actually quite pleasurable to wait for a train in. The reason I use Manchester train station is a) I commute through it towards the North West and have to change here and b) well there is no way I need to drive from Stoke on Trent to Manchester because it is only 40 mins on the train which is roughly the same amount of time as driving , and the location of this train station is that you walk down a road and you are taken into the heart of the shopping quarters, I love Manchester but that is another review. The train station is large and pretty noisy so firstly take a breather in the main hall and check ... Read the full review: Clean and modern Piccadilly by heynonnynonny |

AMC Great Northern ... you like the smell of sweat? If so, the foyer of this cinema is an explosion up your nose. Past that and things get better. Ignore the goths contaminating the arcade area then sweep as quickly as possible up the elevator and breathe again. From here on in everything is the way a cinema should be. Overexpensive snacks, plenty of screens and disdainful staff. Despite the size of this cinema, you may have trouble finding it for the first time, as the advertising is for it s entrance is almost non-existent. A couple of times i have been in the area and there have been people walking up and down, directly in front of the main building, with puzzled looks on their faces. Whe...
