A busy yet well run and clean station

Glasgow is the city I spend most of my time in whether it be for work or for pleasure and I simply love the place but unfortunately I don't live in the city so need to travel there each time. For work I use the bus but on occasion I will travel up there on the train and the stop I travel to and from is Glasgow Queen Street.

Glasgow Queen Street train station is one of the busiest stations (if not the busiest) with the station having lower level where trains from the surrounding areas come in from East and West every few minutes. As this is where I come in most of the time I will offer up my opinion on here first.
The lower level of Glasgow Queen Street is fairly well maintained with plastic yellow seating along the entire wall on each side providing a large amount of seating and each side having plenty of room for people to stand and wait aswell as embark and disembark the train. The stations lower level is always very busy but thankfully manages to not have the crowded fell of other stations (many of which have less passengers passing through) and with cleaners regularly out and about on the platforms it maintains a cleanliness which is not expected for such a busy station.
The upper level has a few platforms with the trains running here being for Stirling, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, etc. This level is very busy with ticket gates stopping the platforms themselves from getting more crowded than needs-be. The level also has toilets, shower facilities, left luggage, Burger King, WHSmiths, Boots and also a couple of other eateries and a pub making it a hive of activity at all times.
Overall this is a well maintained train station that runs well with plenty of ticket sales points making it easy to sort out all your travel needs with or without help. Well placed for all manner of excellent activities this station is an excellent transport link that is well looked after and run so makes travelling in and out of it a little bit easier.
