Advantages: friendly bus drivers

Disadvantages: old, smelly, uncomfortable

I used these buses whilst at college in Huddersfield and I have spotted them also running between Halifax and Bradford city centres.

To get to college and back cost £1.70 which is generally cheaper than buying the half fair ticket from other bus companies! I think this is good value for money in comparison!

Most of the buses in my opinion are well past their retirement time! They are pretty old buses and are very noisy (squeaks and engine noise). The buses I used to get to college use to be pretty damp and a faint foisty smell, with plenty of graffiti by the college kids! The seats are much worn making the journey pretty uncomfortable!

Although this is pretty negative, the one thing which makes this bus worthy of use, is the amazing drivers! They are very friendly and always welcome you on board with a smile! As I used it for college, they were also understanding when a student forgot their half fair pass or monthly pass and normally let them on as they recognise the students! The drivers are by far the best in comparison to other buses I use like First and Arriva!

Summary: poor buses really, but good drivers!
