Advantages: Friendly staff, comfy coaches, exceptional customer service

Disadvantages: None

National express provide comfy, convienent travel across the whole of the UK.

Where ever there is a major train station, it's almost guaranteed there will be a National Express coach station or stop nearby.

The coaches themselves are extremely comfortable, sporting leather seats in most coaches with foot rests, pull down trays, above head storage and wide seats, perfect for restlessness on long trips.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always chatty and ready to answer queries with expert knowledge and full answers.

The prices for National Express are extremely good. In most cases, the fare is over half of what a train would cost. They also provide excellent disabled, child, student and concession discounts, and often run £1 "fun fare" tickets. They also offer a discount card for young people aged between 16 and 25 at a cost of just £10 per year.

National Express also provide booster seats for your little ones, when available, though I have never had a problem getting one.

Although travelling by road takes longer than train and you're more likely to be delayed, the travelling times are still excellent and I've very rarely arrived at my destination late.
One time I was late and missed my connecting coach. National Express provided a taxi for me to get to my destination - costing way over the original amount of my coach ticket. Because of this, I would highly recommend National Express to anyone, based on their experience, perfromance and customer service.

Summary: An excellent 5 star company
