If you visit www.nationalexpress.com you can book travel tickets to most UK major cities and towns by train and coach, as well as airport transfers. My review is going to mostly refer to their coach service. Booking the tickets online is very easy, you enter your location, where you are traveling to and the dates you are traveling and ... National Express is the only national coach network (thats truly national) and is ran by the National Express Group, who operate buses, coaches & trains across the UK. National Express was founded back in 1972 as National Express but was later rebranded National Express Group Plc in 1992. The brand was created back in 1972 by the ... Read the complete review

National Express Service 035 Poole/Swanage to London Victoria. First of all I have only been using the national express for a period of two months, therefore if you find any details inaccurate I'm very sorry, I don't think that you will lose any sleep over it- but tell me all the same via dooyoo messenger and I would gladly ... Booked a coach trip from London Victoria to Milano, via Paris for one week. It was like a carry on film, almost farcical and amateurish at times but quite annoying and inconvenient at others. We had a Polish coach driver who did not know the roads well so we missed our slot at the Channel tunnel and had to wait for the next crossing. This ... Read the complete review

The national express website is easy to navigate. You can search for coach or train tickets easily by inputting the locations and dates of travel needed. Booking via the phoneline is also easy and efficient, which is much appreciated when trying to validate a last minute open return ticket. Now, I'm largely in favour of coach travel, so ... National Express is perhaps the most popular company for long distance coach journeys within the UK and is particularly famous for offering a cheaper travel option for folks who wish to get to an airport which a good few hours away from them so that they can fly to some wonderful destination. In the last twelve months after getting rid of my car, I have had no choice other than to use public transport if I want to go anywhere. During this time I have been on approximately 12 National Express coach journeys. I found they have "Funfares" which are an alternative to the Megabus (and don't just go to London)- these ... 19 7 09 Travelled April 09 from Street to London Victoria UK. Coach was overheated, stench of burning which driver later admitted was gearbox burning up! Due to crash on M4 there were hours delays but no alternatives offered, nor funds to allow tube travel from Heathrow [we didn't want to even stop there but were forced to get embroiled ... I have used National Express several times in the past six months in order to get from Birmingham to Luton Airport and back again. I'm a big fan of the National Express. I'm a student living away from home, and national express makes the massive journey I take every holiday from Basildon Essex, to Hereford in Midlands much more relaxing than I would ever have expected it to be. The coaches always leave on time, something I apreciate given that I am often puncutal ... Read the complete review

**Review on National Express COACH service only ** The first time I travelled with National Express was two years ago, London to Cornwall in a bum numbing 7 and a half hours. This was however, quicker than getting the train and a 10th of the price. Since then, I see if I can do all my long distance travelling through them. It's always ... Read the complete review

I have used National Express many times for their coaches for any long distance travelling I've been doing across the country. I originally decided to look into their coach trips after seeing that train prices for certain trips I needed to make were upto £100 per return. I then went to the webite to see what sort of prices there were ... Read the complete review

National Express....National disgrace more like. My wife, 2 children and I took the bus (for the first time) from Coventry to Heathrow and back. The booking system (if you have children) was a joke and so is the customer service. The conditions inside the buses nearly made us sick. Onto the online booking system. Straight forward ... National Express is the largest long-distance coach company in the UK. It offers cheap transport between most major towns and cities in the UK and also some services in Europe. national express east coast- pure bad service selling restaurant
vouchers telling me the train had a restaurant car then when you board no food other than 3 curled up sandwiches
when you complain you don't even get an apology let alone a refund
what a foundation to base a business on dishonesty and bad customer service
lets hope the franchise changes hands soon
the only reason I have given them 1 star is its is the minimum to post the review

I regularly make the journey from Bradford Interchange to Chester on the National Express, and have no quarms with the service provided at all. For many people, the prospect of sitting on a bus for 2 hours and 40 minutes to make a journey of 88 miles may seem like a stupid idea, this makes it a lot easier for people (like myself) who ... Not so long ago in the distant past I wrote a review on Megabus explaining how good I found the whole service was, I talked about how cost effective it was and how it didn't cost me too much time wise either.
