Tfl finally got something right (Oyster Card)

Advantages: No more queses, cheaper, loss protetion

Disadvantages: Not available on all main land lines,

I love the Oyser card and it is actually one thing that works well in the tube (makes a change!).

There are various advantages to the Oyser card, one which is that it is practically half price cheaper then buying non oyster tickets.

Further, where as before when you lose your weekly,monthly travel card you basically lost your money. With Oyster cards, if yo have registered it, aquick phone call will cancel the card, meaning that no one will be able to use it if it was found.

Also waiting for ages at the ticket office in purchasing tickets on a monday morning can be a thing of the past with Oyster mornign can be a thing of the past, all you have to do is log on to the net and purchase it on-line.

The biggets problem with Oyster is that sometimes, it does seem like more money is taken out then it should have done, but this can be tracked by getting a print out of the statement, if you have regstered it on-line.

I love Oyster card and well done TFL.

Summary: Brilliant, well worth it.
