Flexible, and capped so you always pay less than cash (Oyster Card)
Member Name: sficentre
Advantages: See headline! Disadvantages: You CAN'T use Pay As You Go on trains!
Oyster cards are great for getting around London but have one majo disadvantage - you can't use them on most National Rail services, even within Greater London (Zones 1-6). Aparently this is something that you will be able to do in the future, but there are already problems with train operators charging too much compared to when you do the same route by tube, also using Oyster. However you can use it on a few services, if you're going from Clapham Junction to Watford Junction you can. Summary: Check the zones before you travel |

One of the Better Tube Lines
Bounce across East Anglia in completely the wrong bus
Edinburgh should be proud of their buses!
Finally...we are getting there!
Great way to get around Manchester
Rude staff, inflated fares, slow service, poor value for money
Well staffed
Not the most comfortable option but cheap and does what it says on the tin.
Extremely slow and inefficient but great for tourists
