A great family day out and way to explore the area (Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway (Kent))
Member Name: sillystarfish
Advantages: Lots of stops throughout the journey to hop on and off Disadvantages: Expensive but better of you make a day of it and get the rover ticket
The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway runs from Dungeness point to Hythe with 10 stops in between. The newest stop was added in February 2009 allowing visitors to hop off and visit the Romney Marsh Visitor Centre(free), a small wildlife reserve and education centre. The train itself is a miniature steam engine complete with miniature carriages which will enthral any children regardless of age (including those older children!). Summary: A great family day that will cause delight to children and adults alike |

Never riding Megabus again
For travel, people watching and Rick Astley singalongs, this is the place to be!
Glasgow's pride, Britain's best urban rail network
Your first stop on the train to Ireland
Finally...we are getting there!
Rude staff, inflated fares, slow service, poor value for money
Not the most comfortable option but cheap and does what it says on the tin.
Extremely slow and inefficient but great for tourists
Flexible, and capped so you always pay less than cash
