Sandbach Transport Festival ... to recognise Sandbach's link with the industry was a special parade held in April 1992. This was so successful that it is now an annual event. The parade consists of all types of transport - cars, buses, lorries, steam vehicles and horses.

Ok, so most people will probably be sat there thinking "Where the ****** is Sandbach?" And I wouldn't blame you. But, there are a few times a year when this little town off Junction 17 of the M6 comes alive. Namely the Elizabethan Market, Funfair and (drumroll!) the TRANSPORT FESTIVAL. Other than for residents of the town (who don't get out much) this festival does cater for very specific tastes. But with and open mind and an open wallet there is great fun to be had by all.
