Advantages: Shuttle service from the airport.

Disadvantages: none for me.

Low cost airline services are great but leave you with the problem of getting from the airport to the hotel, in my experience using taxis can prove rather expensive.

Terravision is a fairly new company; the company started off by offering a shuttle service fro Ciampino airport in 2002 and since then has expanded to offer the shuttle service from the following.

London Stanstead to London city centre.
London Luton airport to London Victoria station.
Liverpool airport to Manchester city centre.
Rome campiano airport to Rome city termini station.
Rome Fiumicino airport to rome city termini station.
Milan Bergamo airport to Milan Centrale Station.
Pisa G. Galilei airport to Florence city centre.
Forli airport to bolgna city centre.
Frankfurt hahn to neu-isenburg/Offenbach and nanau.
Vienna baratislava to Vienna city.
Dublin airport to Dublin city centre.
Dolomites transfers.

I first used Terravsion on landing in Rome Ciampino airport, the shuttle service runs from the airport to central Rome it is around a 40 minute journey which drops you off outside the Rome Termini Station, which is right in the centre of Rome. It is Ideal for any one who is staying in the city centre it was ideal for us just a 5 minute walk to our hotel.

We only purchased our tickets on arriving at the Ciampino airport at a price of 8 euro for one way, but there is a special internet price which is 6 euro, I wish I had known you could book online in advance to avoid queuing at the airport. You can also purchase the tickets off the staff before you board. Return tickets can also be purchased and work out a little bit cheaper.

*The shuttle service advises all passengers to board the coach at least 3 hours before there flight departure time.Each service destination has its own timetable of departures.

I was very pleased with the service from Terravision and will definitely use them again on travelling to any of the destinations they are in.
