Advantages: Transport heaven

Disadvantages: Bit costly

I cannot say what a brilliant place this is for transport. Being the metropolitan city it is, trains run regularly to either of Manchester's stations from all around and once you are in the city itself, it really is heaven. I believe this is due to the supertrams in operation. There are three routes, and trains run frequently (Every 6 minutes). I got of my train at Piccadilly, and walked down some steps in the station and I was at the supertram stop. I waited only three minutes before getting on the tram and in ten minutes I was at my destination of Old Trafford for the cricket. This is proper transport integration, and a public transport heaven!

Firstly, there are more than 2 stations (Piccadilly, Deansgate, Oxford Rd., Salford Central, Victoria) in the centre of Manchester. They trains into and out of the centre are brim full at rush hour, frequently too full to let anybody on. The trams run every six minutes, but are vastly overpriced at £1.80 to go about 1/2 a mile. And they breakdown about once every two weeks.
