Big, busy and a major point of arrival from both Europe and other major inland cities. It has a notorious reputation for attracting predatory petty criminals, and particularly for people looking to recruit teenage runaways. It does have shops, but when you're catching a late train, don't expect any of them to be open. The Burger King is legendary for the utter shabbiness of its service - try it out. I've been to London several times and had always arrived at Victoria Train Station. Victoria Train Station is a very old building, a bit dirty and dark and is massive. Victoria Bus Station is at one side of the building and Victoria Tube Station is just underneath the train station. There are trains arrive right at the centre of the building. If you're waiting for train and have some time to kill, there are shops and restaurants around, such as WHSmith, MacDonald's and coffee bars. Tourist information centre is at one corner of the station, and a bureau de change is in the information centre. There are also plenty of pigeons in the station.
