Ok, so I've just the reviewed the sage green spot Cath Kidston saddle bag that I recently bought, I mentioned that I ended up saving £20.00 on the saddle bag, well my £20.00 saving actually turned into spending another £6.00 as I ended up buying the matching purse!

So here we go with a review of the matching purse.

As with all Cath Kidston bags and purses the purse is available in a few different colours and fabrics. I bought the sage green spot design to match my sage green spot saddle bag, the only other colour that they had in the spot design purse was a berry red. The purse was £26.00, this was the full price and not in the sale, they did however have a couple of floral designs in the sale at £20.00.

The purse is made from the same durable wipe clean oilcloth fabric as the saddle bag, which I have found to be waterproof in the rain, and obviously any spills or drips will just wipe off this easily enough with a tissue or a wet one. The interior of the purse has a matching sage green spot cotton lining, which I think makes a lovely addition rather than just having a plain lining. The coin section of the purse fastens with a zipper which has a brown leather toggle on the end which matches the buckles on the saddle bag perfectly, and the notes and cards section of the purse fastens with a brown leather clasp which again matches the buckles on the saddle bag.

The notes and coins section of the purse folds out and so has slots for cards on both sides, it has plenty of room to hold loads of cards, and I can easily fit all of my debit, credit and loyalty cards in here with room to spare. It has two large slots for notes behind the card slots. The coin section is quite roomy and is sectioned off in the middle, this is really handy for me as I travel a lot and so I can keep Sterling coins in one side, and Euro coins in the other side. My previous purse only had one large coin section and I found this to be a bit of a pain when trying to fish out a certain type of currency.

It's not an especially large purse, but it's plenty big enough to be useful without being too big and bulky and cumbersome. It easily fits in everything that I need, and it will even fit my passport slotted just inside the fold out card section, again this is really handy for me as I travel so often. I've swapped and changed this purse between many different handbags and it easily fits in them all.

I've had lots of use out of this purse already, and I'm sure that I'll continue to get lots of use out of it. It is really tough and sturdy and hard wearing, and it seems like it will last for years. I would definitely recommend this purse, in fact I'd recommend Cath Kidston bags and purses in general.
