      European plug adaptor

I tend to travel to Europe quite a bit as it's so easy to get there from where I live, a quick hop to the airport and I am there. One of the important items I need to take with me when I travel is a plug adaptor. I am a typical woman and can't live without my hair straighteners/phone/music and so I need to plug these in to either charge them or use them when I am abroad and so a plug adaptor is a very useful item for me. Also, it needs to be able to change current as well which is what this one does.

When you go abroad a lot of countries you visit will not have the three pin plug system like we do and will often have a different system. In Europe they use a two pin system, in fact I think most of the world uses a two pin system of varying degrees, England is just different with three and so this plug adaptor works well.

A plug adaptor is just a simple little item then that allows you to plug your (in this case, English) item into the front of it with the three pins and then on the other side are just the two pins allowing you to plug it into the wall in a foreign country.

I have used plug adaptors for years as I find them really handy but as I was going away recently and couldn't find mine (why does this always happen) I had to purchase a new one. In the end I decided to get one with both an America/New Zealand/rest of world option and a European option as they came together and I knew both would come in handy. I think the whole set cost me less than £5 which I think is a really good bargain and it came nicely packaged all together so you can travel easily with it.

Like I've said above, I have quite a few different items that require plugging in when I go abroad, things like a hairdryer, hair straightener and iPhone so it's something I use all the time.

This plug adaptor is really good quality for what it is. The plug offers a really tight fit at the front so I always feel quite safe and feel like my items are plugged in well and will not fall out when charging on the wall as you have added a lot more bulk to your plug. It's easy to tell that this is the European plug adaptor as it has two rounded prongs that do not move or adjust, unlike the ones for the USA. I find the round prongs fit really well into plug sockets in Europe and I have never had a problem with an appliance not working when I have switched it on.

This adaptor is also suitable for UK shavers as it has this written on the front so if this is something you need too its good to know it's there.

All in all, an easy way to travel and switch plug types.
