Good, but not as good as Mack's (FliteMate Earplugs)

Advantages: OK for men I suppose

I too have used FliteMate earplugs and found them to be OK, but very difficult to insert and keep in. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman and have girly ear canals? I simply couldn’t manoeuvre them into the correct position and spent the whole flight (8 hours), fiddling around trying to get the things to stay in.
So before my next flight, I bought some Mack’s Pillow Soft silicone earplugs from snorestore.co.uk which moulded themselves perfectly to my lugs AND stayed there. I had no ear pain at all on take-off and landing. I had a cold at the time so thought that was pretty impressive.
