Keep one of these in your back pack just in case

I am a keen hiker and when I say keen, I mean any weather! The wetter the better really!

I have slowly aquired more and more gadgets from GPS, iPhones to PDAs of which accompany my on these hikes.

With all these items being expensive it is paramount that they stay dry no matter what. Luckily things like the iPhone have dedicated water proof covers which are excellent and a must have.
However there is not a water proof cover for everything and when I can not find a dedicated water proof cover, these packs come into play.

They are not attractive and are quite bulky but if it is between this and a wet ruin gadget then i will pick this everytime.

They are about £14.99 depending on the size and they do come in a wide range of sizes depending on that you want.

There is a zip seal top which seals the bag tight so no water can get in. Some touch screens are a bit duff in these so dont expect too much!!

Do they do the job? Yes they do. These are invaluable on a wet muddy hike and sometimes functionality over ridges image!
