“ Brand: Soap & Glory / Type: Wash Bag „
I love make up bags and I have to admit have quite a number of them as when you go away for the weekend its always nice to be able to take your cosmetics and other items away in handy bags. I must admit I am a bit anal when it comes to packing my cosmetics and I like different things in different bags. For example I like to put my shampoo and creams and things that will possibly leak in a separate bag to my lipsticks/powders etc so they do not get ruined or damaged if anything does happen. I also have a bag for my husbands toiletries too as he likes to just throw them in my bag and does not really pack them well so I have to pack them for him.
One of my favourite ranges is the Soap and Glory range that is available at Boots. They have amazing smelling products and also a great old school glamour design and ethos about the company. It was here in one of the larger Boots stores that I bought this amazing make up bag.
It is described by Soap and Glory as,"For glamorous girls who like to make things up (sometimes reality is just too dull to deal with)." I love this phrase, I think it's quite fun and cheeky and makes the bag quite fun to have as a make up bag.
The bag is a good size and holds all my small items such as lipsticks, brushes etc as well as medium sized things such as bottles of foundation and powders. The dimensions of this bag are given as :
The bag has a beading around it which is PVC and then the rest of the bag is made from 100% polyester. The polyester is a little hard to keep clean on the outside as you can really only wipe it with a baby wipe to keep clean but after a few months of use it is still looking pretty good.
The bag zips three quarters of the way around and has a fancy black hassle pull to close the zip. I like this because it opens like a suitcase so you can easily find what you are looking for inside when you open it and you do not have to rummage around in a deep bag. The design on the front includes a mix match of lots of photos of glamourous 50's pin up girls that are the ones featured on the bottles and packaging associated with Soap & Glory. The pictures are in black and white and it gives it an old school glamour look. The Soap and Glory trademark is written on it in their pink colour so you know that it is from that range. The bag cost £10 which I think is quite good for a make up bag although I was quite disappointed that it didn't come with any lovely Soap & Glory products like some of the make up bags do.
All in all a great bag!!
