Since my old wash bag had completely fallen apart i decided it was time to stop using carrier bags as a substitute and buy something new. I am not one for designer labels and big name fashion icons but i did want a good brand purely because it would last a long time, unlike my last one. So i bought this Ted Baker wash bag for £5, in the hope that it was very durable and well made. I can tell you now, it is. In the 6 months i've had this bag its been everywhere with me, on the train, in hotels, on holiday, everywhere, and no damage has been done to it, if it weren't for the stains/splotches i caused, it would look almost new. The smooth leathery look material on the outside has creased a bit here and there but generally it is in good condition. Something i didn't like about this though is the truly disgusting teal sort of greenish colour of the material inside. It truly is an eyesore. They go to so much trouble to make the front look nice with a smooth rubbery texture and only small lines of teal stitching, and then inside its truly hideous. Luckily only i see the inside. There are also rubber tags for the zips for ease of use. Inside (despite the god awful colour) things are very nicely done with zip pockets and lots of pouches which easily fit toothbrushes in, and small stubs of tooth paste. The pouches are slightly stretchy so bulkier items can fit inside without being squeezed too much. I personally think there is enough space for 1 or 2 people going away for a weekend but if you're a large family with lots of toiletries and a big tube of toothpaste, you might struggle for space inside the zip pockets. Family wash bags are bigger than this and i wouldn't recommend squeezing things into the zip compartments because they will just break. The material texture inside is slightly rough and can be pinched with your fingers so it is quite loose, but wont tear easily. Inside there is a see through pouch where you can keep your toiletries such as ear buds, extra toothbrushes, and a small tube of tooth paste. Overall its a good wash bag, my main criteria for purchase was that it had to last long and be durable, not that it had to be designer. It's been a great was bag so far, so i'd recommend it.
