Disadvantages: staff more interest in going skiing

I went skiing to Italy with AirTours a year ago and it the most disorganised holiday I have even been on. Firstly, the tickets arrived late and we had to pick them up at the airport. When we arrived they had us down as a party of three when it was in fact a party of four. The skiing shop that they booked us with to get our rent equipment was awful, they gave us all the wrong sizes and passed us off with all the cheap old equipment. Two of the friends I went with had to go back to shop three times to get the correct sized boots, but it was too late as the feet had already been damaged by the ill fitting boots. I discovered that the skis I had been given where far too short and did not give the correct handling.

The night before we left we all went out for our last meal and drink, only to get back and find a piece of paper shoved under our door telling us we had to get up 3 hours earlier than previously stated. So we got up earlier, but could not get any breakfast as nowhere severed breakfast until after we were due to leave. So we trundled down to met the coaches and they couldn't decide which coach was to take which set of people, so we stood around in the cold for three hours until they could work it out. Once they finally worked it out we headed off to the airport on a fairly uneventful journey, except for the drunken Scottish woman two seats in front. We arrived at the airport to find our plane wasn't for another 6 hours and the reason they got us out earlier was so they didn't have to get a separate coach later on.

So I will never go with AirTours again and I suggest that you all seriously consider giving them a wide berth.
