Advantages: always have holidays available due to no-one booking with them
Disadvantages: everything, useless,unhelpful,not friendly,lack of communication
Well my experience of airtours is one that I will never forget, if I had to pick a word describing them, that word would be "useless". Airtours claim to offer cheap holidays and cater for every need, they also run special family hotels were your children are taken care of. My experience started before the holiday did, we booked a 2 week holiday, paid extra to have day flights. Two weeks before departure we were informed the flight was changed to midnight, we paid extra, no chance of any of the money back. They then demanded letters from my doctors stating I was fit to fly. Two days before departure I was told I would have to pay an additional £200.00 in case I needed oxygen on the flight. On arrival, no room available, had to get transfered to a different hotel. Next day, welcome meeting, no rep, 3 days later still no rep. When the rep finally came we were informed our return flight was now later. This whole holiday was a disaster because of airtours not helping. When we complained we were told in a nut shell that 1000`s of people enjoy airtours holidays and that we would not receive an apology as one was not needed. Overall Airtours should be avoided like the plague, they are unrelyable, lazy and just interested in your money and not interested in giving you the holiday you have deserved. They will never receive any custom from us again.
