Advantages: smooth, well represented, did what it said on the box! helpful and friendly

Disadvantages: the holiday had to end!

We booked our holiday to a small Greek island, just off of Rhodes about 4 month before setting off and got a bargin at a self catering apartment for £220 each!

We flew with monarch air, with a swift check in and helpful staff and was soon on our way to our holiday destination. We had opted out off in flight meals with the co-op as it saved us a bit of extra cash, however we told flight staff and they said we could have the meals for free as every one on board had a meal prepared! How lucky was that! free meal going both ways! The flight was around 3-4 hours and in future i would definitley book a meal as it was quite a long day and was very hungry by the time people were been served meals!

When we arrived in Rhodes we were kindley met by co-op travel agents (British) who were very friendly and easy going. They popped us in apre-book and pre-paid taxi to the harbour where we were to catch the ferry across to Halki island. We were dropped off at the port and honestly felt a bit abandoned as a couple of ferrys came in stateing different islands and we were not sure what time our ferry was due. eventually it came a few of us tourists got on board together.

Once on the island we were met by another co-op representative who gave us a quick talk about the island, about where the tourist office was and how to contact the rep with any questions. Our cases were driven to our apartment and we walked (few mins, as very small isalnd) and left for our wonderful holiday!

The return journey was also very smooth with the rep's on hand to ensure we had all our flight details and wishing us a safe trip home!

Whilst away ExCel went bust and my family contacted the co-op to check we would not be stranded as a few people on our island had had their flights cancelled! The co-op were very helpful and informative saying our flight was not affected, much to the relief of the family!

I found the co-op travel staff very helpful and honest! we had an amazing holiday, just what we had asked for!
